WIFF 2017 brings in record-breaking numbers

Windsor's International Film Festival setrecord numbers again this year, selling nearly 22,000 tickets.

Festival organizers had set upvirtual reality experiences, filmmaker challenges, and 18 films that werescreened at the festival before their scheduled release dates.

The annual festivalfeatured 113 films from 20 different countries 25 per cent of which werefrancophone.

WIFF executive director Vincent Georgie was delighted with the turnout.

Next year`s event will run from Oct. 29 to Nov. 4.
