Daniel Craig set to play 007 again, say U.K. sources

British actor Daniel Craig, who has expressed reluctance at playing James Bond in another film, now appears to be coming around to the idea.

After a gruelling round of publicity appearances for 2015's Spectre, Daniel Craig was quoted as saying he'd "rather slash [his] wrists" than play 007 again.

But he now appears to feel differently about James Bond, with British press reporting he's signed on for the next film about the British master spy, which has the working title Bond 25.

On Sunday, the Mirror also reported that producer Barbara Broccoli is in talks with Adele, whose theme for Skyfall earned an Oscar and a Grammy, to sing the theme song.

The Bond news has not been officially confirmed by the producers.

Craig has been the most popular Bond to date, with Skyfall cracking box office records.

He signed on for five Bond films, and so far has made Casino Royale (2006), Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall(2012) and Spectre (2015).

The 49-year-old actor has since backtracked from his bitter comments about the franchise made in 2015, saying he'd badmouthed 007 when he was under stress because of being away from his family for a long period.
