Actress and comedian Leslie Jones has the biggest movie premiere of her career coming up for the female-led Ghostbusters reboot and was left with no one to call for something special to wear.

The 48-year-old entertainer tweeted on Tuesday that "no designers" were willing to help her with a dress for one of the most anticipated movie events of the summer.

Her post was noticed by fashion designer and Project Runway winner Christian Siriano, who has dressed a number of top celebrities in the past, like Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift.

He replied with hand-waving emojis, presumably to express his interest in working with Jones.

The gesture was met with praise on social media, which prompted another tweet Wednesday saying, "Congrats aren't in order, a change is."

The 30-year-old designer also tweeted that he would love to dress Jones, and that they are meeting, but that nothing is confirmed until she makes her choice.

Jones did not indicate why designers had turned her down, but other actresses, including her Ghostbusters co-star Melissa McCarthy, have recounted similar situations in the past, speaking on the challenges of not being sample size.

Jones has been on the rise since securing a regular spot on Saturday Night Live two years ago, and has since appeared in a handful of major movies (Top Five, Trainwreck, Masterminds), and she isalso featured on the cover of the July 2016 issue of Elle magazine.

The Ghostbusters update of the classic 1984 blockbuster, which also co-stars Kristen Wiig and Kate McKinnon, opens in theatres on July 15.
