Saturday Night Live rolled out an Easter theme and a parody contestbetween Donald Trump's son-in-law JaredKushnerand the U.S. president'schief strategist Steve Bannon, reflecting speculation on tensions over White House roles.

Host Jimmy FallonportraysKushner,Mikey Day isthe Grim Reaper, orBannon,and Alec Baldwin returns as Trumpinthe latest SNL spoof ofthe the U.S. president's team, an Apprenticeskit, complete with "elimination night."

Fallon'squiet, preppyKushnerfirstappears in the show's introduction to hearBaldwin'sTrumptellhim, "You've shown everybody that if you're born richand marry my daughter, you can do anything you want."

Later, the presidential character refers to his "son-in-law" as "my little Kush-ball."

"Jared, Steve, standing before me are my two top advisers. I only have one photo in my hand. That'sright. Tonight is elimination night. There's been a lot of drama in the house, and that's OK, but one of you must gonow."

Spoof of Passover gaffe

Melissa McCarthy returns to play Sean Spicer dressed like the Easter bunny. It'sa nod to Spicer's appearance in a white bunny suit for the Bush administration's annual Easter Egg Roll nearly a decade ago.

In a segment SNL described on Facebook as "A very Spicey Easter," the show's saucy version of Spicertries to explainthe history of Passover with dolls.

"And then the Jews, these guys pass over, literally. These guys literally float above the Pharaoh, kind of like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dreidel."

It has been a tough week for the real Spicer, who spent much of it apologizing for a comment he made about Hitler and the Holocaust.

It was an especially bad blunder considering he made it on the first day ofPassover, which commemoratesthe emancipationof the Jewish people from slavery in ancient Egypt.
