Burma flirts with freedom

Burma has existed for almost 50 years in a virtual cocoon, isolated by a military regime bent on repression.

But last year marked a major shift as a civilian government took over, and impending elections on April 1bring hope for a brighter future.

The CBC's Adrienne Arsenault went to Burma, also known as Myanmar, to see a nation flirting with freedom, where artists, journalists and the political opposition are testing boundaries of expression that are gradually being relaxed.
