Sold-out April 13th show celebrates East Coast Music Week

 Some of Atlantic Canada's finest musicians will join host Jian Ghomeshi for a special broadcast of CBC's Q in front of a live sold-out audience in Moncton's Capitol Theatre on Friday, April 13th at 10 a.m. AT. Q is heard across Canada at 10 a.m. local times (10:30 NT) and on PRI in the U.S. and on Sirius satellite radio.

"We're super-stoked to take the show back to New Brunswick and to Moncton for the first time. We've been hearing so much from good folks in Moncton - it will be great to be there in person," said Jian Ghomeshi, host of CBC's Q. "The ECMAs are always a fun time and a fine opportunity to discover some new Canadian talent."

To mark East Coast Music Week, Ghomeshi will be joined by Halifax singer-songwriter Jenn Grant (former East Coast Music Award winner for Best New Artist), PEI's Rose Cousins (the reigning East Coast Music Award winner for Songwriter of the Year and Female Artist of the Year) and French-rapping Acadians Radio, Radio will preview their new release, Havre de Grce.

Also appearing will be a range of movers and shakers from the Moncton and broader New Brunswick arts and culture scene.
