Masai Ujiri: Toronto can attract NBA's best talent

Toronto Raptors president and general manager Masai Ujiri says its a load of nonsense that a Canadian NBA franchise cant lure star players because of the climate and taxes.

I have the obligation to make this basketball team good, and thats going to attract people when you win, Ujiri said during Mondays appearance on George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight.

The Raptors have won plenty this season with a 42-32 record this season following Mondays 93-83 loss in Miami. They will compete in the playoffs for the first time since 2008.

Ujiri said turning around the culture of a team that won just 34 games a year ago started shortly after he was hired on May 31, 2013 by instilling passion, honesty and a strong work ethic.
