Canadians Tyler Mislawchukand Matthew Sharpe competed in the men's race on Saturday and finished eighthand 25th, respectively.The duo enjoyed recent success atthe World Cup event in Antwerp, Belgium, with Mislawchukearning bronze and Sharpe finishing fifth.

Joanna Brown, who captured bronze at the Commonwealth Games in April, and Amelie Kretz competed for Canada in the women's race and placed 34th and 38th, respectively.

Canada will also have an entry in the mixed relay.
