Pan Am Games: CBC expands TV coverage

CBC has increased TV coverage and online livestreaming of the Pan Am Games, including adding 12 hours to its broadcast schedule.

Broadcaster has added 12 hours to its TV schedule, viewers can watch online and with CBC app

CBC has increasedTV coverage and online livestreaming of Toronto'sPan Am Games, including adding 12 hours to its broadcast schedule.

CBC-TV'sPan Am Afternoonhas expandedto a three-hour program each weekday from 2-5 p.m. local time across Canada (2:30-5:30p.m. NT) for the remainder of the Games.

Weekend coverage is also being stepped up.

Prime-time programming will befrom 7-10 p.m. local time thisSunday. On July 25, it will befrom 1-6 p.m., and 7-11 p.m. ET.

Online, viewers have the option oflivestreamingas much sports coverage as is made available by the Pan Am Games organizing committee.

The sports made available live to CBC by the organizers include: Cycling, gymnastics, diving, synchronized swimming, swimming, equestrian (show jumping), beach volleyball, boxing, soccer, judo, wrestling, taekwondo,and basketball.

All medal moments as well as theclosing ceremony on July 26will also be coveredliveon TV,online, and via the CBC Sports App foriOSandAndroid.
