The organizers of a holistic expo in Calgary have scrubbed a presentation by an Alberta man who was convicted in the death of his toddler.

The Body Soul and Spirit Expo has announced it's removed David Stephan from participating in the event at the end of the month and is now reviewing its exhibitor application process.

The event was to be held at the Grey Eagle Resort and Casino, which says the Expo issued the statement after it expressed its concerns to the organizers.

In February, another organization, Health and Wellness Expos of Canada, also removed Stephan from its Western Canada speakers list after sponsors and vendors pulled out in protest.
