A woman killed in the London Bridge terror attack on Friday has been named by the Metropolitan Police as Saskia Jones, 23, from Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire.

The 23-year-olds family paid tribute to a funny, kind, positive influence in a statement released by the force, confirming she and fellow Cambridge alumni 25-year-old Jack Merritt were fatally stabbed by convicted terrorist Usman Khan.

Both were involved in its Learning Together programme, which was hosting a prisoner rehabilitation conference that Khan, 28, was attending at Fishmongers Hall near London Bridge.
