There's a chance Rep. Ann Wagner (R-Mo.) was simply making sure she didn't have lipstick on her teeth . There's also a chance she was picking a booger, then eating it.

Whatever the ultimate answer, this live TV segment , which Rep. Wagner filmed with Missouri Republican Party chairman John Hancock after last Thursday's first GOP debate, inadvertently mined some pure gold.

The potential goober grab may put the congresswoman in a rarefied category shared by former LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger -- who possibly did the same thing on live TV during a bowl game in Florida last January.
