Former Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) -- infamous for not one, but two sexting scandals from his time in Congress and his run for mayor of New York City -- said he'd rather redeem himself as a father than a politician.

On WNYC Studios podcast Heres The Thing with Alec Baldwin, Weiner told the actor that his current focus is on raising his 4-year-old son, Jordan, while his wife, Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin , is on the road with the Democratic presidential hopeful.

"Being a dad, thats my job," Weiner said.
