Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin, co-founders of classifieds website Backpage.com , are among seven individuals connected to the company who have been indicted for conspiring to knowingly facilitate prostitution on their website.

A 93-count indictment unsealed Monday detailed the federal governments case against the classified advertising website days after it seized .

A message on Backpage.com that first appeared Friday said the website had been seized as part of an enforcement action by the Federal Bureau of Investigation , the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, and the Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation Division, with analytical assistance from the Joint Regional Intelligence Center.
