The state of Hawaii has a lot going for it in terms of natural beauty, but its biggest pride and joy may just be the massive wave known as Banzai Pipeline, or Pipe for short.

Even non-surfers flock to the North Shore of Oahu to stand in awe of the wave's massive power and trademark curls. And as the below video by aerial photographer Eric Sterman shows, some of the most talented surfers in the world get enveloped and demolished by crushing, turquoise water in their pursuit of that one perfect ride in Pipe's barrel.
