On Wednesday night, a female political analyst described being dismissed as just another blonde when providing her opinion on Fox News . The next morning, another political commentator and a news anchor revealed their own mistreatment at Fox News and said theyd essentially been told that there was no recourse when the perpetrators happened to be Bill OReilly or Roger Ailes.

These are conversations that wouldnt have taken place on air just 10 months ago, when Ailes ruled Fox News and OReilly reigned as the king of cable news.

But the floodgates began to open once Ailes resigned in disgrace in July after a sexual harassment lawsuit filed against him by former Fox & Friends co-host Gretchen Carlson prompted allegations from dozens of women. And more women have been speaking out since OReilly exited the building Wednesday following protests and an advertiser exodus both in response to a report that sexual harassment settlements had been secretly paid out to several women. Both men have denied the claims against them.
