Billie Jean King is sick of hearing people bash female athletes' bodies.

The tennis icon joined Zerlina Maxwell on HuffPost Live to discuss the recent criticism of Serena Williams' body , and how women athletes are judged by their bodies.

"Particularly with women athletes, people talk about their looks the whole time, and they don't talk about their accomplishments," King said. "And they would never do that to a man."

King believes that social media is making a serious difference in how people think about female athletes' bodies, but that ultimately, body type shouldn't matter.

"I think most of the women just want to be as strong as they can be, period. It doesn't matter what their shape is."
