Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II greeted citizens and took part in festivities today in honor of Monaco's 2011 National Day, an annual celebration of the feast day of St Rainier of Arezzo. And this year's fete is a particularly special occasion: though she's been with Albert for years, 2011 marks Princess Charlenes first Monaco National Day as a married woman.

And the princess' style didn't disappoint. Charlene, who's been opting for monochromatic outfits lately , followed suit and gussied up in head-to-toe beige. Wrapped in a tan jacket with a funnel neck, she also wore tan elbow-length gloves as the royal couple celebrated mass at the Cathedrale Notre-Dame Immaculee and watched a parade from their balcony. Holding a tan clutch, Charlene looked elegant with her blonde hair swept back in a bun.

We think the princess looks gorgeous, but we also love what she wore at last year's National Day. Then, Charlene -- who was still Albert's fiancee -- took a bigger fashion risk in a patterned tan suit and a whimsical hat.

Hillary Clinton released a statement congratulating the country on its 155th National Day and wishing Charlene and Albert "the greatest happiness in the years to come." The festivities today and this weekend will include ceremonies, fireworks, a bonfire, concerts and children's shows.

Earlier this month, the royal couple made their first appearance in America after getting married, at the Princess Grace Awards to honor Julie Andrews. At that event, Charlene wowed in a glittery black Dior gown.
