Clark Little estimates hes taken close to a million photographs of waves since discovering them as a unique photographic subject in 2007.

Since then, hes grown to world-icon status. He's published a book , he flies first class , he owns his own gallery and he's been exhibited at the Smithsonian .

Little also takes pictures of water, but hes known for his wave photographs because of his unique take -- one thumb out, three fingers in, and pinky extended -- on the classic motion.
