We ask Representative King to apologize and to refrain from further use of derogatory language targeting any national, ethnic or minority group.\n\nKing has previously engaged in smears targeting the American Muslim community. \n\nIn 2011, King, then chairman of the U.S. House Homeland Security Committee, held four hearings on the American Muslim community. After those hearings, which included 18 witnesses, King failed to produce the promised evidence to support his stigmatization of Americas Muslims. \n\nNot a single witness attempted to factually validate the congressmans allegation of a Muslim community run by extremists. Five of the six law enforcement representatives who testified did not support Kings assertion that Muslims do not cooperate with law enforcement.\n\nSEE: Rep.
