'Daily Show' Hits Trump With Awkward Reminder About JD Vance

The Daily Show correspondent Ronny Chieng on Tuesday said Donald Trump has been fighting back against comparisons to Adolf Hitler .

Im not a Nazi! Im the opposite of a Nazi! Trump said. His running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), has also pushed back on accusations that Trump is Hitler.

This is an interesting debate, Chieng said. Because Kamala [Harris] has actually never called Trump Hitler.

Then he offered the former president an awkward reminder.

JD Vance did, though, Chieng pointed out.

Vance in 2016 told a friend in a private message that he wasnt sure if Trump was a cynical asshole like Nixon or if he could be Americas Hitler.
