Dakota Johnson has offered a rough read on the film industry in a new interview.

Johnson said its been majorly disheartening to try and lead her own projects, telling LOfficiel in an interview published Tuesday how studios and streamers arent willing to take chances these days.

I am discovering that its really fucking bleak in this industry, she said, adding, The people who run streaming platforms dont trust creative people or artists to know whats going to work, and that is just going to make us implode.

Its really heartbreaking. Its just fucking so hard. Its so hard to get anything made, she continued. All of the stuff Im interested in making is really different, and its unique and its very forward in whatever it is.
