Just one day after the death of her daughter, actress Carrie Fisher, beloved Hollywood icon Debbie Reynolds died Wednesday. She was 84.

Todd Fisher, her son, confirmed his mothers death to Variety.

TMZ reported that Reynolds was hospitalized Wednesday for a medical emergency. She reportedly suffered a stroke at Todds Beverly Hills home.

She wanted to be with Carrie, Todd told Variety.
