When I asked editors here at The Huffington Post , as well as some of my favorite DIY nail art bloggers for a show of hands (get it?), I was surprised to see how many girls had taken risks this weekend with their manicures . From fashion assistant Michelle Persad 's deep purple nail color to Sarah of Chalkboard Nails ' complex gradient design inspired by Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away , I'm certainly motivated to go bold with the unexpected (hence, my nude nails ).
