Facebook has booted four Alex Jones and InfoWars pages from its platform, the company said Monday.

The Alex Jones Channel Page, the Alex Jones Page, the InfoWars Page and the Infowars Nightly News Page were removed for violating Facebook s policies on graphic violence and hate speech, the company said.

Last week, Facebook removed four videos from Jones-affiliated pages and placed Jones, an administrator of the pages, on a 30-day block. However, the other administrators continued posting content on the pages.

Facebook said it removed the pages after receiving an unspecified number of additional reports of community standards violations. The social media giant also clarified that the removals were not related to fake news complaints.

While much of the discussion around Infowars has been related to false news, which is a serious issue that we are working to address by demoting links marked wrong by fact checkers and suggesting additional content, none of the violations that spurred todays removals were related to this, Facebook said.

Jones is a conservative radio host and conspiracy theorist who, among other things, claimed the 2012 Sandy Hook elementary school massacre was a hoax.

Several other platforms have also banned his content, including Apple , Spotify and YouTube, which identified Jones content as hate speech.

YouTube on Monday removed The Alex Jones Channel, which had more than 2 million subscribers, for for violating YouTubes Community Guidelines. Last month, YouTube removed four of his videos.
