'Every Reporter's Worst Nightmare': Florida Journalist Sheds Tear After Shooting

A Florida journalist delivered an emotional report on every reporters absolutely worst nightmare after a fellow TV news reporter was shot to death while covering a shooting on Wednesday.

Luana Munoz, a reporter at WESH-TV, shed tears as she acknowledged the difficult nature of the story in the hours after two Spectrum News 13 reporters Dylan Lyons and Jesse Walden were shot while covering a homicide in Pine Hills.

Lyons and a 9-year-old girl, who was shot with her mother at a nearby home, were killed. The mother and Walden were wounded. The Orange County Sheriffs Office identified the woman killed in the initial shooting as Nathacha Augustin, 38. They identified the child as 9-year-old Tyonna Major.

Munoz, while outside Orlando Regional Medical Center, reflected on the emotional scene, recalling her embrace of the slain Spectrum News journalists fianc.

It is nice to see all the media, we come together in solidarity in this moment, Munoz said.

This is every reporters absolutely worst nightmare. We go home at night, afraid, that something like this will occur. And that is what happened here.

Keith Melvin Moses, 19, was to be charged with homicide in the childs shooting and would face more charges related to the journalists, according to Orange County Sheriff John Mina.

Spectrum News parent company, Charter Communications, said it was deeply saddened by Lyons death.

Our thoughts are with our employees family, friends and co-workers during this very difficult time, the company said in a statement. We remain hopeful that our other colleague who was injured makes a full recovery. This is a terrible tragedy for the Orlando community.
