George Conway Cracks There's Really Only 1 Way The GOP Will Turn On Donald Trump

George Conway thinks he knows how to get Republicans in the Senate to finally turn on President Donald Trump and agree with impeachment.

And it involves a secret ballot in the Senate and a trap door.

From what Ive heard, people would just wish hed go away, added Conway, who despite being married to White House counselor Kellyanne Conway , has become a frequent and harsh critic of the Trump administration.

In the wide-ranging interview, Conway predicted the likelihood of Trumps impeachment is pretty much 100%, gave Attorney General Bill Barr an F grade and lamented the GOPs lacking of a voice of reason.

Conway also took aim at the people who continue to serve and support Trump, remaining silent in face of things they disagree with.

Its one of the mysteries to me about this era, Conway said. Now, I get there are people who are not in a position to say or do anything there because theyre junior or theyre not in a financial position of comfort. Theyre vulnerable in some fashion. But there are people whose livelihoods dont depend on this.

There are people, for example, who are no longer running for reelection in Congress. There are people who are independently wealthy. There are people who can just go back to the private sector, he continued.

Instead of making all these political calculations, although I think the calculation they should be making is hes going to be gone at some point and theres going to be a reckoning and history isnt going to be kind to people who said nothing or stood up for Trump, he added.
