We want to like grapefruit, really we do. We've heard it has so many health benefits and that it's one of the few fruits that's in season come winter . But it's just so bitter. And unless we dump a pile of white sugar on it, it's hard to stomach the taste -- especially early in the morning.

So, we decided to do a little research and check out how some of our favorite food bloggers are eating the citrus fruit. Between adding mint, coconut and OK, a little sugar, we are now inspired to make grapefruit our new kitchen staple. Herewith, six recipes to make you fall in love with grapefruit.
