Politico reports that Trump is recording an interview on Joe Rogans podcast Friday, citing a person familiar with the plans. This would be Trumps first appearance on the show, which has more than 14 million followers on Spotify and consistently ranks as one of the most-listened to podcasts.

Trump has appeared on other podcasts popular with young men recently, including This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von and Full Send.

Rogans politics are a mixed bag. He describes himself as socially liberal on many issues, but has spoken out against vaccines and transgender inclusion in sports. He also expressed support for the campaign of former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, whos since dropped out and endorsed Trump.

Harris will visit Texas on Friday for an attention-grabbing campaign event highlighting reproductive freedom in the final weeks of the 2024 presidential campaign.

Texas is not a swing state, but it enacted one of the countrys strictest abortion bans after Supreme Court justices nominated by Donald Trump overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022, ending the federal right to abortion.

The event, which had been rescheduled once already, was billed as an expert-driven discussion featuring Trump, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Tulsi Gabbard, among others. The website now reads, this event has been cancelled for now due to changes in President Trumps schedule.

Cochise County Supervisor Peggy Judd, a Republican, pleaded guilty Monday to a misdemeanor of failing to perform her duty as an Arizona election officer by refusing to certify the 2022 midterm results by a state deadline.

Judds official guilty plea represents an important development in securing election integrity in Arizona, said Thomas Volgy, a former Tucson, Arizona, mayor and professor at the University of Arizona. It should be a loud wake-up call to county elected officials that they cannot fiddle with the vote intentions of Arizonans for cheap partisan gain.

Harris has lapped Trump in fundraising after pulling in a record $1.6 billion across various campaign committees compared to $700 million for Trump.

In total, Harris has raised $928 million for her official campaign, $364 million for the Democratic National Committee and another $307 million for a joint fundraising committee after accounting for transfers made to her official campaign and other party committees, according to FEC filings running through Sept. 30. That total, which includes funds raised when President Joe Biden was the partys candidate, is a record sum for a presidential candidate.

The five men Donald Trump wrongfully accused of raping a jogger in New York City in 1989 are suing Trump for defamation, citing Trumps false claim during the September presidential debate that the men all pleaded guilty to the crime.

They admitted they said, they pled guilty, Trump said during the debate, responding to a remark from Vice President Kamala Harris about his decision to run advertisements calling for the teenagers to be executed.

And I said, Well, if they pled guilty, they badly hurt a person, killed a person ultimately, and if they pled guilty, he concluded.

None of them pleaded guilty. All of the men were, in fact, exonerated.

The boys, who were all between the ages of 14 and 16, spent between five and 12 years wrongfully imprisoned until a serial rapist confessed to the crime and DNA confirmed that he had committed it.

In an interview with Fox News this morning, Sen. JD Vance (Ohio) was asked why its necessary for Donald Trump to continue doubling down on his suggestion that his political rivals are the enemy from within.

Donald Trump is unfiltered, Vance replied. I think this is one of the reasons why the campaign has gone well, because hes not doing a basement campaign strategy. Hes not just running on slogans, Vance said. When people ask him questions, he speaks from the heart.

When Vance was reminded that Trump has singled out former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Adam Schiff in his alarming statements, the GOP vice presidential nominee went on to blast both Democrats, also claiming Pelosi is obsessed with Trump.

Arnon Mishkin, the head of Fox News' decision desk on presidential elections, told Politico he expects to know the winner of the 2024 presidential race four days after Election Day.

Vice President Kamala Harris campaign raised $222 million in September, according to a filing with the Federal Elections Commission on Sunday night. The campaign had declined to reveal its fundraising totals until now, fearing it would diminish giving to the campaign in October.

The campaign also spent $265 million, mostly on television and digital advertising. It ended September with $187.5 million on hand.

Former President Donald Trumps campaign said earlier this month it raised $160 million in September and had $283 million on hand.

In an interview with Rev. Al Sharpton on MSNBCs PoliticsNation on Sunday, Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris addressed the killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, who the Israeli military killed on Wednesday, and responded to Donald Trumps recent insult about her.

Reilly wrote a book in 2019 titled, Commander in Cheat where he explains how Trumps relationship with golf can help the public understand the convicted Republicans character and shady behavior in business and politics.

Michigan is one of three \"blue wall\" states that, along with Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, will help decide the election on Nov. 5. Diverse voting blocs are key to winning virtually any swing state, but Michigan is unique with its significant Arab American population, which has been deeply frustrated by the Biden administration's support for Israel's offensive in Gaza following Hamas' Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel.

While foreign policy rarely sways U.S. elections, the war in the Middle East is a critical concern for many of Michigan's Arab American voters.

Although he launched his successful 2016 bid for the White House by labeling Mexican immigrants rapists and calling for a ban on Muslims entering the U.S., the severity of the GOP presidential nominees rhetoric this election season marks an escalation one that has seen some political observers, once hesitant to call Trump a fascist, suddenly more at ease with the label.

The comments drew harsh responses from a variety of high-profile figures, including Detroits Democratic Mayor Mike Duggan and Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer -- and eventually Harris and her campaign, which cut a video ad seizing on the comments.

Even many Republicans questioned the wisdom of trashing the largest city in a key swing state, especially one that by all accounts has been enjoying something of a renaissance.

Trump hasnt apologized or tried to qualify the comments. But it appears hes trying to give it more of a positive spin -- still harping on how much the city has lost, but now focusing more on how he says hell revive the city.

Well be talking about the Michigan miracle, Trump said, adding later I will put Detroit first, I will put Michigan first and I will put America first and thats the way it is.\"

And how will he do that? His platform calls for a combination of massive tariffs and pulling back on Democratic green energy investments. Economists from across the economic spectrum have warned such large, sweeping tariffs will hammer the economy, while auto industry analysts have warned that stopping the green energy investments will take away money thats underwriting a manufacturing boom across the South and Midwest.

Few states are getting more of that money than Michigan.

Trumps $60 Bibles were printed in China, a country he has repeatedly accused of stealing jobs from Americans.

Harris second Michigan rally in which she focused on auto workers has ended. She has one more stop in the state Friday.

During her Lansing, Michigan rally, Harris played clips of Trump bashing overtime and auto workers.

I know a lot about overtime, Trump said in a clip taken from a Pennsylvania rally. I hated to give overtime. I hated it. Id get other people, I shouldnt say this, but Id get other people in. I wouldnt pay.

In another clip, Trump said this week that auto workers assemble parts out of a box.

We could have our child do it, Trump said.

Harris told supporters Trump has got his club, and union workers are not part of his club.

He thinks that the value of your work is essentially meaningless, thats what hes saying, comparing it to child's-play, she said.

Harris said Trump has never had to work a job that came with calloused hands.

He will never understand the life and the work of the United Auto Worker, she added.

At her second rally in Michigan on Friday, Harris reiterated to supporters in Lansing her commitment to unions and collective bargaining.

You let the workers organize so that the collective together, who have the same concerns, the same issues can be banded together to have equal power in a negotiation, Harris said. Thats what collective bargaining is about, thats what unions are about.

Lansing is the home of the General Motors assembly plant just south of downtown. Trump claimed during a Bloomberg News event this week that auto workers assemble parts out of a box.

We could have our child do it, Trump said.

At her rally, Harris said she understands the dignity of work.

Its about basic fairness, and its about the dignity of work, understanding that we all deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, she said. Thats what were talking about when we talk about this movement.

Coach Walz sat for a 15-minute interview Friday with sports commentator Rich Eisen, where the two reminisced about football plays of yore before praising sports as a unifying force in a fractured political environment.

Walz also talked about having to toe the line as a sports fan whos also a high-profile politician, which included silencing his internal smack talking self during the Michigan-Minnesota football game last month in Ann Arbor.

Michigan, the fans were great. But I have to tell you, the coach in me and I will acknowledge that Im very emotional I get a little bit excited, he said, recalling how Minnesota lost a turnover due to what he thought was a bad call.

We recovered that onside kick and that flag was late, and Im about ready to go off and I have to, like, suppress it and say, Dang it that was a tough break. When Im really, like, almost on the verge of profanity, he continued. Are you kidding me, a late flag on that onside kick?

Walz, a Minnesota Vikings fan, said hed recently sneaked away from a campaign event to visit the Green Bay Packers Lambeau Field for the first time, laughing as he recalled campaign staffers worried hed talk trash.

My team was worried, they said, Dont go into Lambeau and start talking smack, he told Eisen. I said, You dont go to church and swear Im not gonna go to Lambeau and talk smack. Its a religious pilgrimage. It was amazing.

Doctor Who Wrote Goldwater Rule Says He Would Recommend Dementia Tests For Trump

A psychiatrist who helped craft the 1973 Goldwater rule that has kept many mental health professionals from opining on Trump for nearly a decade said that it was not intended as a hard-and-fast prohibition, and that if he were Trumps doctor, he would order a full battery of tests to determine the cause of what he believes could be the former presidents dementia.

He seems to be progressively cognitively impaired, said Allen Dyer, a retired George Washington University psychiatry professor.

Walz criticized Trump for his plan to elevate billionaire CEO Elon Musk to an influential government position, potentially having say over federal policies that affect his companies. He joked that Musk, who has been stumping for Trump and dangling $1 million checks to voters, was practically serving as Trumps running mate.

"Elon's on that stage, jumpin' around, skipping like a dipshit, Walz said. You know it! he added.

In Walz's words, Musk is spending millions of dollars to help Donald Trump buy an election.
