Hillary Clinton had an incredible response for a gay child who expressed fears about what his future might hold.

A photo of a sad-looking young boy sitting on a stoop was shared on the Humans of New York Facebook account on Friday. The boy told photographer Brandon Stanton he was worried about people not liking him because of his sexual orientation.

The photo quickly went viral, and by Monday had racked up more than 600,000 likes and about 58,000 shares. Clinton commented on the snapshot Friday afternoon to offer the boy words of encouragement and love.

"Prediction from a grown-up: Your future is going to be amazing," the 2016 presidential hopeful wrote . "You will surprise yourself with what you're capable of and the incredible things you go on to do. Find the people who love and believe in you - there will be lots of them. --H."
