Former Democratic Party presidential nominee Hillary Clinton has urged President Joe Biden not to engage with Donald Trump s nonsense as she gave her view on the pairs first 2024 debate .

With four months to go until America votes, Biden and Trump will face off on Thursday inside a CNN studio in Atlanta, Georgia.

In an opinion piece for The New York Times Tuesday, Clinton offered her perspective on the debate based on locking horns with Trump in 2016 and taking on Biden during the 2008 Democratic presidential primary race.

Clintons second televised stand-off with Trump was notorious for the Republican candidate moving ever closer behind the then-Democratic nominee and glowering. In the op-ed, Clinton described Trump as stalking me around the stage.

Recalling their three debates, Clinton said Trump unleashed a blizzard of interruptions, insults, and lies that overwhelmed the moderators and did a disservice to the voters.

Clinton wrote, It is a waste of time to try to refute Mr. Trumps arguments like in a normal debate. Its nearly impossible to identify what his arguments even are. He starts with nonsense and then digresses into blather.
