James Carville Makes Bold Election Prediction: Im Doubling Down On That

Longtime Democratic strategist James Carville on Monday once again stated that he believes Kamala Harris will beat Republican rival Donald Trump in the 2024 election.

I think that Harris is going to win, Carville told MSNBC s Ari Melber.

Let me just say that out front. Im doubling down on that, he added, although he acknowledged, I could be wrong.

Carvilles reassertion (he said in September that it doesnt feel like a race that Harris will lose ) came during a discussion about what Trump may do if he wins.

Melber and Carville talked about the pattern of Trump saying extremist things, high-profile Republicans playing the comments down, and then Trump insisting that he did actually mean them.

If he [Trump] wins, hes going to say, I told people I was going to do this; I have the legitimacy of an election behind me, said Carville. And you know what, he will have a point.
