James Carville Offers The Most Baffling Election Forecast Ever In Jimmy Fallon Bit

Jimmy Fallon staged a mock call with James Carville to find out more about the longtime Democratic strategists election forecast only to come away more confused than ever.

Veteran political strategist James Carville, famous for his colorful language, confidently predicted that Kamala Harris will win the election even though hes previously admitted this race is, and this is a real quote, tighter than a mosquitos behind, Fallon said on The Tonight Show Thursday.

That was the setup for Fallon to introduce a phone call with a fake Carville to get some clarity. Instead, he got a whole lot of, uh, colorful language.

It went like this:

Fallon: I do want to talk about this prediction in The New York Times that Kamala Harris is going to win. So, how do you know this?
Carville: Everybody is free to read the articles, of course. But the best way I can put it is this: when I look at the political landscape, to me, the outcome is, its all about juggling rattlesnakes while not stepping on a mudskipper, you follow me?
Fallon: Not really. But wed love to know how you arrived at your prediction, though.
Carville: Look, Ill put it to you this way. OK, I aint the type of guy who likes to drink Slushies straight outta the fish tank. I aint no first-year gravy squeezer either, you get me?
Fallon: Still not really, no. How should people approach the next two weeks as they await the election results?
Carville: Most people dont have the patience to boil cotton candy with a potato. Much less teach three cockeyed possums how to do the fandango.

The conversation came to an end when the imagined Carville excused himself to go put a saddle on a shrimp.
