Johnny Gaudreaus widow, in a heart-wrenching eulogy for her late NHL player husband on Monday, announced that she is pregnant with their third child.

Speaking at a memorial service for the Columbus Blue Jackets star and his brother, Matthew Gaudreau, Meredith Gaudreau said that they had only just learned about the pregnancy, which came as a total surprise. The couple already has two children, a boy and a girl, who are under the age of 2.

John and I had the best six months as a family of four. These will forever be the best six months of my life, she said.
