It seems Kate Bosworth had to turn the other cheek quite literally after her husband Justin Long pooped in their bed.

During a recent appearance on the PIE With Kurt Sutter and Katey Sagal podcast, the Barbarian star, 46, recalled getting food poisoning on a trip to Mexico City with Bosworth, 41, that left him comically unloading to the point where he awoke to a foul surprise in the bed they were sharing.

I was hooked up to an IV, and [Kate] was having to follow me to the bathroom with the thing, he explained in the episode that aired Tuesday. It was like Dumb and Dumber.

I was just, like, really comically unloading, and then, at one point that night, I woke up, and theres no other way to say this, I cant dance around it: I had shit the bed. I had shit the bed, and she was in the bed, Long continued.

Whats more, Long said, Bosworths reaction to the embarrassing moment was really romantic.

She was, like, two feet away from me with this IV bag, Long said of how she nursed him back to health. And she was holding it so patiently, and she was like: Everythings fine. And I thought about how much I loved her. I was like: I just love this person, Im so grateful to this person.

The comedian said the vulnerable moment left him in awe of Bosworths kind heart.

She was not judging, not making me feel weird, or bad, and I just felt so lucky, you know? he recalled. I was shitting my brains out, and she was looking at me lovingly, and I thought: This is really romantic.
