Justin Timberlake will reportedly plead guilty to a lesser charge related to his alleged drunken driving arrest in June after reaching a deal with prosecutors in New York.

The singers driving while intoxicated charge is being dropped and in exchange he will plead guilty to a traffic violation, The Associated Press reported Wednesday citing sources with direct knowledge of the deal hashed out in Long Island.

His new charge of Driving While Ability Impaired comes with a $300 or $500 fine, TMZ reported . His license will also remain suspended in New York for a year.
