Katie Ledecky lost to Ariarne Titmus of Australia again in the Olympic 400-meter freestyle final at the Paris Games on Saturday by a lot.

In fact, Ledecky, one of the most decorated Olympic female swimmers with a record 6 gold medals, took bronze.

Titmus won in 3 minutes, 57.49 seconds , pretty much leading from the get-go. Canadas Summer McIntosh took silver, with a time of 3:58.37, and Ledecky clocked in at 4:00.86, fading badly in the second half of the race.

Ledecky beat Titmus in a morning heat. But with medals on the line, the 27-year-old American couldnt keep up.
