Behind Kelly Clarkson s hazel eyes is a whole lot of admiration for fellow American Idol alum Carrie Underwood .

The Voice coach was discussing her upcoming NBC talk show , The Kelly Clarkson Show, with Entertainment Tonight Saturday when the subject of Underwoods recent pregnancy came up.

Im so happy for her! the 36-year-old Stronger singer said. I didnt know a lot of the situations that were happening behind the scenes.

Underwood, who is pregnant with her second child with husband Mike Fisher, candidly revealed to CBS Sunday Morning in an emotional interview earlier this month that she experienced three miscarriages in less than two years.

Its a really cool thing [she did]. I was emailing her, because I was like, Its so important that you talk about it, Clarkson said of Underwood, tears welling in her eyes. I know you dont have to, because its a hard thing to do, but it makes women who feel inferior, or feel like somethings wrong with them, it makes them feel comfortable, and [know] that people go through it.
