One of fashion's most entertainingly named duos is about to make their union official. On Friday night Ralph Lauren's 39-year-old son David proposed to girlfriend Lauren Bush, the New York Post reports .

The question was popped at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art. The two met at the same museum's annual Costume Institute Gala six years ago.

Bush is the niece of former President George W. (her father is his brother Neil). Last year she launched a clothing line under the name Lauren Pierce . Pierce is her grandmother's maiden name.

No word on whether, with the marriage, she will become Lauren Lauren.
