Actor and comedian Marlon Wayans on Thursday issued a hilarious message to any would-be robbers after his home was burglarized.

Thieves took a safe and thousands of dollars from Wayans Los Angeles-area residence while he was away last week, sources told TMZ .

His brother Keenen Ivory Wayans , who was at the home, was awakened by some noise but, didnt realize what was happening, TMZ reported.

In a social media video , Marlon Wayans said that the thieves didnt really get much.

The most valuable thing in my house is my house, he said. So unless youre going to put that shit on a truck and drag it away, then, hey, man, you did well. But I dont own shit.

The actor said that he doesnt wear jewelry, pointing to a fake ring on his hand.

Im not flashy. No jewelry. No necklaces. I dont have cash. I use credit cards, he said.

In a caption for the video, Wayans said that Everyone is fine following the burglary, but that thieves should Save your energy.

Robbers dont waste your energy or your life doing home invasions, shit is too heavy!!! You want to carry all that bullshit? Throw your back out, and for what?! he said.

I repeat I dont own shit valuable, he added, asking robbers to pick a better target.
