Mike Myers Reveals Whether He Wants To Do Another 'Austin Powers' Movie

A future Austin Powers film sounds groovy to actor Mike Myers .

Myers, who starred as the titular character in the comedy franchises three movies, weighed in on the possibility of reprising his iconic role during an interview with Jimmy Fallon on Friday.

The Tonight Show host asked Myers who produced and wrote the films, which took in over $676 million at the box office if hed ever play the British spy again, prompting the audience to break into cheers.

I dont have anything to announce. I can neither confirm nor deny the existence or nonexistence of such a project, Myers said.

Yeah, I would love to do it, of course. Its fun, he added.

Fallon also asked about a visit that Myers took to Londons Buckingham Palace , which featured a surprise tie-in with Austin Powers.

Myers whose parents are from Liverpool, England said he and a friend were watching the changing of the guard from inside the palace gates when a military band broke out into the franchises theme , Soul Bossa Nova by Quincy Jones .

Responding to Fallon, Myers said that one of the guards who are not supposed to talk told him, I bet youve heard this song before!
