Sunday was girls night out for BFFs Nina Dobrev and Julianne Hough.

The besties hit up the American Music Awards where they dazzled on the red carpet before continuing their evening, checking out one of the after-parties at Craig's in West Hollywood.

After changing out of their red carpet looks, Dobrev slipped into a skintight red dress while Hough opted for a black minidress with sheer cutouts. The pair were all smiles as they posed for photographers and packed on a little friendly PDA as Hough planted a kiss on her pal.
