The pandemic may have restricted travel over the past two years, but it also opened many Americans eyes to the beautiful sights in their own backyards.

Indeed, the National Park System reported a record for visitors in 2020 and 2021, with travelers flocking to popular spots like the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone and Rocky Mountain National Park.
