A coalition of multiple organizations is seeking to mobilize crowds in major cities to demonstrate against President Donald Trump s environmental policies.

Its the latest action following the Womens March on Saturday , which, if the Metros trip count is any measure, had a bigger showing than Trumps Inauguration in Washington, D.C., a day earlier.

On Wednesday, the Sierra Club , one of the organizations thats involved, announced it will sponsor a Peoples Climate March on April 29, 2017, in Washington, D.C., and elsewhere around the country.

The Saturday march will take place one day before Trumps 100th day in office, giving the event special importance, organizers said.
