Princess Charlene, as we've mentioned, has her style basics -- black, beige, more black. But we love when she branches out and has a killer red carpet moment, as she did in August in a fuschia Akris gown .

The Monaco royal hit a high note again last night while attending the Ein Herz Fuer Kinder (A Heart For Children) Charity gala in Berlin.

There to present an award to fellow Olympic swimmer Franziska van Almsick, Charlene wore an exquisite maroon gown covered in layers of delicate tulle.

The strapless cut showed off her strong shoulders but the nipped-in waist highlighted her feminine figure. She kept things simple with drop earrings and pulled her hair back in a soft, pretty updo.

From head to toe, Charlene nailed it! At least that's our humble opinion. Take a look below -- was this one of the princess's best style moments or just another boring outfit choice?
