Robert Pattinson apparently understood his "Twilight" character better than the woman who created him.

According to BuzzFeed, the book series' author Stephenie Meyer stopped by Comic Con in New York on Thursday, where she spoke to fans about her new gender-swapping novel, Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined. In addition to hyping the book, she also revealed that the first time she met Pattinson, they argued about his onscreen character Edward Cullen for close to an hour.
