WHO: Singer, actress and DJ, Solange Knowles

WHAT: The Texas-native proved that she doesn't need to take fashion cues from big sis Beyonc as she seems to have killer style down pat . Solange was ready for the shutterbugs in a look that incorporated all the primary colors. We love her blue-and-white houndstooth pencil skirt (the fabric is so chic for fall), paired with a printed red blouse. This gal knows how to pick the right accessories for any ensemble -- her cheetah-print pumps bring in another color palette, but since they're a neutral shade they enhance her outfit rather than distracting from it. The hair muse (our beauty editor copied her waist-length braids ) takes it one step further with a pop of color on her lips and a bright yellow purse . It looks like music isn't the only thing this young lady knows how to mix.
