Tim Walz Shuts Down JD Vance's Abortion Take Using His Own Words Against Him

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz hit back at JD Vance on Wednesday after the senator from Ohio took to Fox News where he dismissed womens concerns over abortion rights.

Host Laura Ingraham , in an interview with former President Donald Trump s vice presidential pick, referred to a friend that described suburban women caring about abortion rights and said they dont understand that its not banned nationally.

She then asked Vance for his message to a group of people that she described as marinating in this propaganda.

Well, first of all, I dont buy that Laura. I think most suburban women care about normal things that most Americans care about, Vance replied.

Walz, who has notably described Vance as weird, turned the Ohio senators normal words against him.

Also on Wednesday, a 2020 audio clip resurfaced in which Vance agreed with podcast host Eric Weinstein that the purpose of the postmenopausal female is to help raise grandchildren.

A spokesperson for Vance, in a statement to The Daily Beast , denied claims that he agreed with the hosts remarks.

The senator has previously faced backlash for calling Harris, along with several other Democrats , childless cat ladies and people who dont really have a direct stake in the country.
