A handshake to remember.

President Donald Trump met with Frances newly elected president Emmanuel Macron Thursday in Brussels ahead of a NATO summit, and it was hard to miss the handshake between the two world leaders white knuckles and all.

The two presidents, each wearing dark suits and blue ties (Trumps was thick and royal blue; Macrons was skinny and navy) sat in antique cream-upholstered arm chairs, with two American and French flags behind them, the Washington Posts White House reporter, Philip Rucker, described in an email. They shook hands for an extended period of time. Each president gripped the others hand with considerable intensity, their knuckles turning white and their jaws clenching and faces tightening.
