Brett Cross, whose son was killed in the 2022 mass shooting at a Uvalde, Texas, elementary school, was arrested Monday morning following a Uvalde County commissioners meeting.

In video of the meeting , Cross is seen yelling and appears to point his finger at Commissioner Mariano Pargas, who was the acting Uvalde police chief on the day of the mass shooting.

Another person on the commissioners court tells Cross to stop using expletives.

Language, language, language, Cross says in response. My child is fucking dead. Dead. And you have the balls and the gall to stand up here.

Cross is then escorted out of the meeting.

Neither Cross nor Pargas immediately returned a request for comment.
